By telling your own story, you're helping students build theirs.
As a volunteer, you will speak with CUNY students about what you do, how you got there, and what you've learned along the way. Students will then get the chance to practice professional networking, learn about your industry/role and ask questions they may have no one else to ask
- Eligibility: Employees of Jobs Council employers or Partnership for New York City employers, as well as CUNY alumni with at least one year of professional experience. No restrictions on role type or education background to participate, and no recruitment experience is required.
- Volunteers are not expected to act as a representative for their employer or their employer's recruiting teams.
- Next steps: Once registered, you will receive an email with a calendar invite, Zoom link, and prep materials prior to the session. Please add volunteer@jobscouncil.org to your safe sender list.
